Haha... I think I'm what you consider a bookie. :D
But seriously, every tool has its place. Facebook is a good tool to build networks, keep in contact with people whom you may otherwise not be able to keep in contact with, and of course to link up with other people from walks of life.
I sound very much like a pro-facebook person. And in a way I am, and I don't deny that some relationships forged on, or continued by facebook are shallow relationships. Ultimately, facebook shouldn't be the only way you build your relationships.
Beyond that, everyone needs to build deeper relationships with loved ones and close friends. If siblings are each of their own rooms facebook-ing each other.... that would be cause for worry.
Haha.. just my two cents worth... Oh my... did I just show my narcissist side? :P
