Anyone read Nick Leeson's book?
Its a beautiful read, especially if you have notions of grandeur and super high leverage....
Its an honest biography written by him, on how he truly believed himself to be an "invincible" trader, especially since the banks treated him so well whenever he made money.
Its important to realise that he was not a "stupid fool" or a cheat that the papers made him out to be, he was in fact a very smart trader.
What really happened was a confluence of statistics catching up with him and emotions that he could not manage when it came crushing down.
its a nice read... not all technical.. with lots of life lessons
