Hi
I notice oanda live only up to one day but proreal time have many to chose from. I used to drawing lines on proreal but for oanda it rather difficult to draw as the place is so small.

So when reading charts proreal or oanda is better or I can get better and free from local fx trading house. Please comment I really new on this.

for oanda, you can press the button as shown in the picture to open up a new chart which can make the chart bigger.

Oanda has live charts, not just end of day data. just click on the drop menu in the timeframe box.

PRT has the nicest charts around and the interface is the most user friendly.

You can't get better than PRT from local fx house but you can get better than oanda. as for 'free' wise, you actually have to open an account with them.

cheers, shufang =)

i think the local broker Igmarkets is using the same charting from ProRealtime.

ohj really?.. do you have an account with them?

do they allow you to draw a trendline and then appear on another chart window of the same pair?

if they do, that would be pretty interesting...

heh.. anyone using?

cheers,

winston

yes i do. (i almost forget about them liow) it was a few years back when i wanted to trade CFD on singapore stock markets. Never use them for a long time liow.

i have just tested it out. it works like prorealtime. you can draw a line and it will appear in both chart of the same currency pair.:)

just found out they can trade all kind of stuff other then stock and fx. also have commodities..etc wow!!!

they has changed so much since i last login too.

Do you know what is binary or ladder FX? it is one of the trading options in Igmarkets. what i guess is that it seem to me that you buy up or down on say USDJPY. (like gambling BIG or SMALL) INTERESTING.

for those who wish to try igmarkets' charting software (same as PRT) -

http://www.igmarkets.com/fx/apply-online.html?ct=n

it's an online sign up, with no minimum to open as per the US site. immediate activation and immediate usage of the charting feature.

however, as Singaporeans, we are required to open locally, you need to declare at least $100,000 of combined annual income and savings.

cheers =)

Hi synwind,

What is the min sum to open a account in igmarket? What is the min sum per trade in igmarket?

Hi,
IG Markets can be open with S$1000 - S$3000. You can specify the base currency for your account or multiple currencies. Unfortunately they do not have broken lots like Oanda. Minimum trading size is 1 mini-lot. I am using it to trade Spot Gold. Platform is very user friendly. I do not use their chart as i am so use to Saxo platform. Now that i know they have it like PRT, i will explore their platform. Thanks so much for the info.

checked with igmarkets singapore, no minimum amount to start account, no maintenance fee involved as well. minimum trade is $10K.

this is really cool. so anyone who wants "pro-realtime" live account can sign up for Igmarkets through synwind!

i personally still prefer using oanda like richard says coz i can buy like 74,000 units of EUR/usd which roughly matches to $100k sgd.

cheers
